Attorney Schoen

Josh earned his Bachelor of Science with High Honors from the University of Rhode Island in 1991 and his Juris Doctor with Honors from the University of Miami School of Law in 1994. During law school, he received American Jurisprudence Book Awards in Commercial Law I and Estimated Economic Damages—awards given to the top student in each course.

He is admitted to practice in Florida, Rhode Island, and New York, as well as in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.

Josh is a Board Certified Criminal Defense Lawyer with nearly 30 years of experience handling complex criminal cases. Over the course of his career, he has also developed extensive experience in civil litigation and family law. Today, he focuses his practice exclusively on personal injury, applying the same depth of knowledge and dedication to helping injured clients secure the compensation they deserve.

Outside the office, Josh enjoys spending time with his wife, teenage daughter, and their much-loved dog. He also holds a private pilot’s license, a pursuit that reflects the same discipline, focus, and commitment he brings to his legal practice.
