Clayton “Garrett” Gaa is a dedicated personal injury attorney serving clients in Lakeland and throughout Florida. A lifelong Lakeland resident, Garrett combines deep local roots with an unwavering commitment to protecting the rights of injury victims. Since joining the Florida Bar in 2013, he has built a practice focused on helping clients recover compensation in cases involving car and trucking accidents, slip-and-falls, wrongful death, and traumatic brain injuries (TBI). Over his career, Garrett has secured more than $30 million in jury verdicts throughout Florida, earning a reputation as a skilled trial lawyer who fights tirelessly—especially in complex, high-stakes cases.

Garrett earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminology with a minor in Sociology from Florida Southern College in 2010, where he also played collegiate soccer. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2013. While in law school, he completed a full-time judicial externship with Judge Nikki Ann Clark at the First District Court of Appeal and earned dual certificates in Business Law and Sports Law—an achievement earned by only a select number of graduates.

Garrett began his legal career as a law clerk at the First District Court of Appeal before going on to work with several respected Florida law firms. He has represented hundreds of clients in complex personal injury cases and is particularly experienced in TBI matters, understanding the profound medical, financial, and emotional challenges these injuries cause. His proven courtroom results, paired with a strategic approach to negotiation, have made him a trusted advocate for injury victims statewide.

Clients appreciate Garrett’s approachable style, honest communication, and relentless pursuit of justice—reflected in the many positive reviews he’s earned across reputable platforms. He is committed to leveling the playing field against powerful insurance companies and holding negligent parties accountable.

Outside the courtroom, Garrett remains a passionate sports fan, with a particular love of soccer, which he played competitively through college. Whether on the field or in trial, he brings the same drive, discipline, and focus that define his approach to life and law.
