Why Choose a Florida Bar Board Certified Attorney Like David C. Dismuke?

Since 1982, Florida Bar Board Certification has been Florida Bar’s highest level of evaluation in regards to attorneys’ competency and experience. Not all attorneys are certified by the state bar. Florida Bar Board Certification is reserved for those attorneys who have demonstrated special knowledge, skills, and legal proficiency, as well as the highest level of professionalism and ethics. Only about 5% of all attorneys in the state have earned Florida Bar Board Certification and only around 1% of Florida’s attorneys are Board Certified in the area of Civil Trial Law. In order to become Board Certified in Civil Trial Law, attorneys must have tried at least 15 contested civil cases—but many attorneys simply lack the trial experience necessary to earn this qualification.
